Jennifer Rose health coach

Hi! I’m Jennifer

Certified Health Coach & Energy Healer

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods. practical lifestyle management techniques. and over 100 dietary theories. My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention.

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means looking at how all areas of your life are connected. As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole. I work with my clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because I understand that life happens and your needs will change.

I want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance. I believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions as their own expert.

My Healing Story

I suffered from under-diagnosed autoimmune issues for nearly 20 years. It started with a tentative diagnosis of Hashimoto’s in 2000. I ended up on thyroid medications, but it didn’t quite help the way they said it was supposed to.

Well, between moving to a new state, a new house, having a new marriage, my body was in a state of shock. It wasn’t long before I didn’t have much energy and the migraines started and they didn’t stop. The doctors did some tests and found a cyst on my skull right next to my ear. If they removed it, I would lose my hearing. That was a life-changing revelation. I was so scared. Was I going to lose my hearing? My life? I asked for six months to figure something out and they reluctantly agreed. I spent that holiday season pretty much tucked away in a darkened room, loaded up on pain medications.

Then, one of my girlfriends suggested I try her Chinese Medicine Doctor.

We did several lifestyle changes, mostly in my diet. It was hard, I didn’t want to cook when my head was throbbing, but then I started to notice it wasn’t throbbing so much. I didn’t need as much pain medication. Six months later, I visited the doctor – and the cyst was gone. My health steadily improved through diet, supplements, and lifestyle choices. I know it sounds cliche, but it really worked for me.

I had the energy and ambition to take a job as a nail tech and open my own salon. It was a huge amount of work and energy, but it was so rewarding. I loved helping people and having something to call my own.

But, my marriage started falling apart and my health issues started coming back. I slipped up and grabbed quick foods rather than healthy foods. I wasn’t exercising like I needed to. I tried to work with various holistic healers, but it wasn’t until I left the unhappy relationship (and lost nearly everything) and became my own person that I started to find calm and my center.

Still, those few years after were tough. I transitioned through several jobs with long commutes. It nearly destroyed my health.

It was by chance I started researching the ingredients in my food. I was shocked to learn my inflammation, digestive problems, pain, and fatigue could be caused by the additives in the food I ate. Out they went and within a few days, I started feeling better. In a few weeks, I could feel a huge difference. It wasn’t perfect, but it gave me a start.

In 2019, I enrolled in a health coaching program and really had my eyes opened. I learned about food and diets and applied that to my life.

The inflammation decreased, I could eat without pain or getting hives, I wasn’t in continuous pain all the time! I woke up one morning, got out of bed, and stood up. Do you know how many years it had been since I could just stand up? No creaking, moaning, or pain – just standing up.

I decided to teach this to other women; how to control their diets to reduce autoimmune pain and send their condition into remission. I cleaned up my past and started teaching women how they can do the same. I watched them heal themselves through food and lifestyle modifications, too! I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other women achieve autoimmune remission through healing their gut naturally.

Since then, I’ve worked with many private clients. I lived my dream of helping women feel better in their bodies and gain confidence when they take control and advocate for their own health
